PhiBrows Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow technique that uses a manual handheld tool to create fine, hair-like strokes in the skin. The aim is to replicate the look of natural eyebrow hairs, enhancing shape, fullness and symmetry in a soft and natural way.
Results typically last between 12–18 months, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. Over time, the pigment will gradually fade, allowing the brows to soften naturally. Many clients choose to have a colour boost to maintain their results.
Most clients report minimal discomfort. A topical numbing cream is used during the treatment to keep you as comfortable as possible. Sensations vary, but it is generally described as more of a scratching feeling rather than pain.
PhiBrows Microblading is suitable for clients with sparse brows, over-plucked brows, uneven shape or those wanting more definition. It is often best suited to normal or dry skin types, as oily skin may cause pigment to fade more quickly.
Healing usually takes around 7–14 days for the surface skin to settle, with full pigment healing taking up to 4–6 weeks. During this time, the brows may appear darker at first, then soften as they heal. Proper aftercare is essential for the best results.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine and blood-thinning medications (where medically appropriate) for 24 hours before your appointment. It’s also best to avoid tanning, strong exfoliants and brow treatments such as waxing or tinting in the days leading up to your session.
